The
trail is dirt with some
roots, rocks, and some
sand. About 1/4 mile is
paved going through the
parking lot. The hills
are many but small; most
are runnable, with 3 or
4 large ones climbing
perhaps 20 to 40 feet.
There are some
boardwalks. The trail
is 75% shaded.
The course is measured
by Garmin/GPS. We will
be using a shorter,
different loop to
accomplish the 12.5 mile
distance.
Aid stations are about
every 4 mile's.
We have a score keeper
to monitor each person's
laps when you come
through the start/finish
area with a clock to
show your time.
Since this is the first
year of the race, we
don't know how many
runners will show up, so
as of now we have no
limit on participants.
The morning of the race
you can obtain a
Day/Yearly pass for the
MI State Parks.
Please arrive early to
give yourself enough
time to get ready
